Connecting the world of classic Porsche
  • Relay socket for Bosch relay in Porsche mounting hole art.no: RELSOCK

Anyone who has worked with the old-style round German relays  found in classic Porsche's knows the downside, they’re costly, increasingly rare, and not necessarily more dependable than today’s modern relays.

This adapter allows you to switch to a standard, affordable square relay, while offering much greater versatility compared to the original configuration.

This allows you to use many other relay versions, such as solid-state relays, timer relays, or relays with built-in fuses. This is a major difference compared to the standard Porsche relay socket, which only accepts the black or red (with diode) relays.

Especially the relay socket for the fuel pump — both on the 911 and the double version used on the 930 Turbo — often become burnt over the years due to the relatively high current.

The socket fits into all standard mounting holes found on the G-model fuse panel frame, both at the front of the car and on the engine fuse panel in the engine compartment.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: This is a hard-wired solution.

Installation requires removing the original round relay plug, which in most cases isn’t designed to be serviced or reused anyway.
